The Recipe


Add to a tumbler...

The Blend: One orange twist
One cinnamon stick around 3cm long
One piece of star anise Two cloves Two teaspoons of soft brown sugar Two dash of bitters
Add to the glass: Two pinch of fresh mint leaves
Two teaspoons of brown vanilla sugar
One tot of St Abbs Captain’s Table XO
The Shake: Add a tiny drizzle of St Abbs Captain’s Table XO and two ice cubes and stir the mixture into a paste.
Add two more ice cubes, one tot of St Abbs Captain’s Table XO and stir with a spoon for around 20 seconds.
Add two more ice cubes, a second tot of St Abbs Captain’s Table XO and stir for another 20 seconds.
The Finish: Fill the glass with ice and garnish with an orange twist.
